If YOU had the choice...

Sit down with your own mom, and do the math. Include estimates for law school as well. Run some of the loan repayment calculators at [College Calculators - savings calculators - college costs, loans](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>Calculate Your Cost – BigFuture | College Board) and [FinAid! Financial Aid, College Scholarships and Student Loans](http://www.finaid.org) to get an idea of just exactly how long those potential debts will be taking just exactly how much out of your paycheck. Visit [Project on Student Debt: Home](http://projectonstudentdebt.org/) to read through some true-life tales about how college debt has limited some people’s post-college life options.

Being rational about this stuff is no fun I know. However, you are pretty much a grown up now so you know there are times to think with your head and not with your emotions. Big expenses are one of them. If you can’t make your decision alone, get help from people who are good at thinking things through carefully. Northeastern may be the right choice for you, it might not. Just don’t go into this blindly.

Wishing you all the best.
