<p>I sent everything in already by October 14th...hoping for an interview to help my chances a little bit, so if you have a second please give me one final chance. Im apply to College of Arts and Sciences and majoring in biochemistry. Sorry if this whole thing is long.</p>

Pretty competitive high school
Probably has sent about 5,6 kids to Penn in past 4 years so like 1 or 2 a year.
About 2 or 3 other kids in my class applied but I think my stats are comparable if not a little better than theirs.</p>

<p>GPA - 4.0 unweighted
2 APs last year with a 5 on chem and a 4 on english
3 APs this year (physics, calculus, and bio)</p>

<p>SAT - 2190 - Math 780, Verbal 660, Writing 750

My A.P. English teacher wrote one and shes my next door neighbor and definitely likes me a lot
My A.P. Chem teacher who is absolutely brilliant and liked me a lot
A priest who took me and ten of my friends on a one month service trip to Mexico City last summer to work in an orphanage is writing me one.
And my guidance counselor</p>

Above Average I guess...I thought they were pretty good
My WhyPenn essay was definitely my best....I thought that one was really good.</p>

<p>Well your ec's are kind of weak, and it would help to know the stats of the other kids applying from your school...like if one is valedectorian and a runner, or if another got an 800 on his math, went on a better service trip, is a soccer captain, son of Italian immigrant etc. </p>

<p>Your test scores are pretty good, so the whole thing is a crapshoot...</p>

<p>oh and I just noticed you're bowling captain...that's pretty cool, i wish my high school competed against other high school teams...</p>

Yeah my high school is pretty unique in that we compete nationally against other schools for bowling. Also i think the fact that im a sports editor might help.</p>
