give me your thoughts crew.

well your scores arent that great whereas your ECs seem great. the 25 on the act science is well bad and w/o an essay is bad... dont send it

Weak scores
Weak rank
Good EC's

eh...idk probably not

paid model?

^ u mad? 10 char

^ LOL 10 char

GPA and testing scores are the biggest factor and right now they're not working for you.

You guys are jerks.
His SATs and ACTs are amazing + extra curriculars.
The low AP scores is another thing, but they don't matter that much in admissions.

it's all good, i know i'm far from being the best applicant in the pool. as far as the gpa thing goes, i'm not at all worried because my school is solid and well known (ranked by newsweek as the top 5 in the state). also i'm getting the writing scores in for act, they just haven't posted them up yet, but i'm hopeful, it'll be decent.

haha yea, i'm a paid model -- like i've advertised for photography companies, clothes lines, random products, etc. but i mean, we'll see -- just wanted to get a feel of what you all though (obviously not too highly, lol) but the app is in and now we can all just wait.

Zester, his SAT scores are amazing for the average high school student, but to UPenn they are actually slightly below the average. You might want to take another SAT II since that U.S. score is low.

well, it's too late for the SG91, i've applied early (which i think should help a little bit) and the latest sat dates are the november ones for early. i did, luckily, take the math II, hopefully those should be nice.

I don't know guys, his EC's are pretty flawless, and he's a model, too, which is randomly unique. Your test scores are pretty weak, your math falls ten points below the average 50 for Penn SAT's, but I think the ACT's are pretty good, and considering your applying to a buisiness program, they probably won't focus too much on the science.

Your essays have got to be killer though, along with the recs. Because you're not at the top of your class, your going to need to have like a good ass counselor rec to say that your school is solid (like you said so).

I agree with Zester on the AP scores, low, but not to big of a deal. Early should help though.

Dude, Huntsman is SO hard to get into. Like there was this girl at my school that got rejected from Huntsman but got into Princeton and Harvard. Chances for huntsman- very low.

However, if you played up your ECs the right way, you could have a decent chance at CAS. Good luck.

It's people like you that make me feel useless (your extracurrics...), but then I remember my friends from my school (top boarding school) who are at Huntsman are like me, and it reassures me.
Anyway, I'd definitely say you have a shot, though that doesn't mean anything.
Anyway, I just created a "fun" thread for people who applied early to Huntsman, go check it out!
--So are you targeting Hindi? (Though if you go to my thread you would answer that there!)

im in the same boat as u except my tests scores r even lower.. i think u have great shot espeically with all ur leadership positions and ec's btw which gov school did u attend?

i feel you all, i've been told it's like the hardest thing in the entire world. dude phillips exeter, eh, that's hot.

Angel, I ended rejecting both due to scheduling conflicts and because one of my friends didn't get accepted in HC, but whatever. Did you got to either?

"dude phillips exeter, eh, that's hot"

Hahaha, I find that line really funny for some reason. Possibly because it's so unlike anything I've ever heard before.
...I really need it to be Dec 15th right now.

i feel you man.

dude i was thinking, like for all us cc people, if we all get in, will we ever meet up? like we've got to organize something epic like that: a cc gathering or what not. obviously, we all have to get in before anything like that can happen, so i can't wait for dec. 15 either man.

yea dude, phillies is a solid school so you should hopefully get into A&S if all else fails with huntsman. but, i'm no admissions officer, so we'll see what's up. good luck.

forgot to superscore the sat. the most recent scores were ass i will admit.

cr: 730
math: 760
writing: 800 (11 essay)

any thoughts?

recent as in like the ones i had posted orignally because they were my most recent scores.
