--the special financial app I saw online? It was unclear whether you needed to fill this out if you already had submitted css profile.

It’s my understanding that you submit either one or the other. We only submitted the Profile (plus the FAFSA).

on the site it says either the ffp-ez or the profile, so yeah, either one.
i accidentally submitted both (i forgot i already submitted ffp-ez), but i hope that’s okay.

I saw this

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/washington-university-st-louis/1062184-css-profile-vs-wustl-ffpez.html

drats. looks like ffpez is a gift from washu. I wish that all schools would have such an option. However, I already had submitted css before I learned about ffpez, which is free. considering son is a reach to Washu, I probably just wasted $16. That was 3 culvers kids meals, or 5 boxes of cereal, or 3 gallons of organic milk.

I guess it’s the convenience, since the CSS Profile you can send to many schools at once without filling it out again, but the ffp-ez you gotta do it separately for WashU. Also, some of the things for ffp-ez were a bit ambiguous in my opinion, so to make sure there weren’t any misunderstanding, I just sent in the profile instead.

I went ahead and did the CSS Profile as well. I’m a first-generation college student, and so it was helpful to use because of all the questions I had.

For those it affects, the College Board Noncustodial Profile form can also be used in lieu of the WUSTL one. I sent admissions an email to confirm this. Since I was using the College Board for other schools, I figured it was best just to use it for all. Paying for it was sort of a drag, but it really made the process simple considering I had no idea what to do.
