One should note that a Smithie is running for the US Senate and has a reasonable chance of winning and coincidentally becoming the first openly gay member of the US Senate. (Tammy Baldwin, Wisconsin).

I looked her up. Smith 1984 Government and Math. ^^

Great to know our daughters are in very fine company Lots to feel quite
proud about.

I graduated from Smith in '84, and while I didn’t actually know Tammy when we were at Smith, her name was familiar. I had the chance to hear her speak recently at a NYC fundraiser for her campaign. Very impressive lady – on top of the issues, forceful without being strident, thoroughly competent and hard working. A very caring, intelligent person and politician. I hope she wins.

…And they get elected to the Senate! Go Tammy!
