If you're worried about your application ...

Mine was worse. Trust me.
I decided to apply to Notre Dame as an afterthought. On January 1st, at 11:29 pm.
I was kind of out of it after being awake for 20 hours straight (which might be normal for some of you guys, but I’m hibernating right now). I picked the “Home” and “Take a risk” topics, and for the first I wrote about being afraid of werewolves as a kid and for the second I slapped together a sloppy 100ish word essay about a line from a poem.
Why.
WHY.
Then I submitted my application at 11:58 (I kid you not) and slept like a baby.
Well, that was a mistake.

Moral of the story: don’t write your application essays 30 minutes before the deadline.

Hey you never, ever know perhaps brilliance came across the page, excellence and your heart. That’s all you can hope for. good luck!

@Seacoast Ha thanks! I doubt it, though. There are far more deserving students than I who deserve a spot there.

@laikadoodles you never know. I know of a few people who did that and currently go to ND.

@picklechicken37 Lol, what did they write?

Side note: I didn’t realize I wrote “deserving” and “deserve” in the same sentence

@LaikaDoodles no idea, all I know is that got in and go there with me. But they did their entire application the day of the deadline.

And that doesn’t sound like too much of a mistake.
