I have to take physics, chemistry or biology. I was thinking about taking general physics (algebra based) and general biology together in one semester. Would this be a good idea to do? I need your opinions on this!

Look at the recommended class and study times of them together combined with your other class choices. If you could give them both the best attention then go ahead. If you have other workload intensive courses on, I’d advise against it.

Computer science majors frequently have to take an introductory calculus based physics sequence. They often have to take a general chemistry sequence too. That’s going to vary a lot from school to school though.
