I'm Biology E/M Teacher ...

I'm a Biology E/M teacher and if any one needs any Help just ask and i will be here to help :)

Hello, I am a sophomore student at high school in GA. I am currently studying for SAT Biology, and I am in Cell Division section. There are conceps that I cannot understand, and I could not ask them to teacher since he is very busy. Would you explain the questios below for me?

1) What is the difference between sister chromatids and chromosomes? When chromosomes replicate, I know that one copy is called as sister chromatids, but I cannot understand is sister chromatids are actually the chromosomes themselves.

2) In life cycle, how does zygote do mitosis and produces all sorts of somatic cells, when zygote is from sex cells?

3) Do both mitosis and meiosis have interphase?

Thank you in advance!

chromosomes consists of :2 chromatids connected by cemtromere

2) In life cycle, how does zygote do mitosis and produces all sorts of somatic cells, when zygote is from sex cells?

firstly : Zygot is sex cell so it is Meiosis division But when it begin form the organ of body (as Skin nervous system …etc) This Stage Called Gastrula Stage this stage is Mitosis division .

3) Do both mitosis and meiosis have interphase?
Mitosis Divsion Begin with Interphase Then PMAT (This word to nerver forget the arrangement of stage of Cell division –> prophase , Metaphase , Anaphase ,Telophase .

Meiosis Division Have Interphase Then (PMAT)1 THen (PMAT)2 Meiosis II don’t have Interphase

I Hope u undersatnd me :)

BummmmmmmP

I have Biology E test tomorrow and I need to know which topics I should have studied. I haven’t really looked at the questions for M in my Barrons review book so if there are a lot of M questions on the E test will I fail?

i will bak to answer …

firstly :
Biome (Marine & Terrestrial) ,Cycles ,Food chain , food web , producer , consumer ,Herbivorous , autotroph , Ecological Succession , Pioneer organism ) This Specialized wiht E
also :
Taxonomy , Evolution , Genetics ,animal +plant Behavior i think that’s all about E …

Thanks a lot! Hope I do well tomorrow.

How is the SAT 2 in E/M formatted? Are there questions from both Ecological and Molecular on the subject test?

I’m better at Ecological, but does that mean I have to study for Molecular as well?

eckoback yea of course E M joint with each other in many subjects

How should I split up my studying for E and M if I decide to take E?

i think each subject in E SHare with M subject :)

What’s the point of having a teacher if he/she can’t speak english?

u can teach me ??
