I'm confused with the online application, please help

Hey guys. I finally decided to apply online, but I am a little confused with the process. I hope you could give me some advice.

I find the space provided in the Common App. for the extracurricular activities and academic awards a little to restrained, so I decided to add an extra sheet of paper, where I can present my achievements more exhaustively. The thing is I'm an international and our educational system is very different from yours, so I thought it would be a good idea to add a short explanation behalf every activity or award. I have friends that did the same thing over the past years, so colleges seem to accept it... But, the question is, how do I attach this extra sheet to the online application?

Secondly, how do I request a fee waver on the online application? I tried to figure it out all by myself, but I got somehow confused. Any suggestions?

How do I handle the teacher's recommendations? I talked to them, but they are not every interested in the process, so, they did their job by writing the requested rec., but it's me who has to do all the send job. I want to keep everything online, so.. what do I have to do with those letters? It is OK to send them as an attached file in an ordinary email (like my yahoo account) or do I have to get all formal and ask my teachers to send them from an official school email (which I doubt we have)?

Please help me. Any opinion would be welcomed. Thanks! :)

You add/upload this sheet under the ‘additional info’ section. There is an upload option there.

Go under the ‘payments’ section under each college. There is a fee waiver reqest form which you, your parent and coundelor has to electronically sign. The process is easy. You’ll discover it when you go there.

3.It is a MUST that your teachers send the recommendations and transcripts directly to the school either electronically or by mail. They should have e-mail accounts to which you send requests and they should complete everything online.

Thanks omega007 for your help. I know I may sound like a noob, but… where is the additional info section?

OK, so my teachers have to submit those letters, but can my counselor send his rec along with the teacher’s letters and with my school transcript in the same e-mail? (supposing we’re talking about the school’s official email).
