<p>Little did I know your thread was going to focus on how much money is too much / not enough? </p>
<p>You never really addressed why you don’t want to discuss money with your DD, or did I miss that? Clearly, you have the ability to provide your daughter whatever seems reasonable. Why do you even care what that number is? It seems totally arbitrary. </p>
<p>At some point you wrote that you worried your DD might not trust you if you asked her about finances, but it’s all in how you phrase that. Why are you so timid to discuss this subject with your daughter, when it’s not even an issue? Get talking about it! She sounds very mature and you’re more than willing to please her.</p>
