I'm a junior in a class of about 1200+ and have a weighted GPA of 3.9 and my SAT score was 2000+ and my parents don't think this is good enough. I have a couple extra curriculars and am in a few clubs. I also played JV basketball and hope to play varsity.

check the colleges online that has a certain GPA.talk to your school counselors, teachers, classmates, or even check in your career center. I’m sure you will get into plenty of colleges.

Well, I’m just gonna put it out there: Community College. I mean, at the level that you’re currently at we’re talking burger flipping for at least 10-15 years until a decent job in telemarketing opens up because your transcript will be irrelevant by that point. And I have to say, nobody’s really impressed by just saying “2000+” anymore. We need specifics. I mean, do you think that Lebron James tells people “I’m a pretty good quarterback” when in fact he was just awarded MVP for the NFL after his team, the Cleveland Browns, have just won the Superbowl?! Really, you need to get your act together and throw down some statistics before some college admissions dean comes on here and finds out early about your shameful scores in high school.

Oh, and get a girlfriend, at least that would be a slightly more impressive than what I’m seeing right now. Colleges are not really impressed with, “■■■■■■■■ on CollegeConfidential” as an EC anymore.
