Well, it’s a good sign that you let adults read it and that they gave you feedback. Are these persons familiar with college essays? One was your teacher?
Remember it’s about showing and not telling. This was perhaps the best advise that I read. My own daughter had one teacher, her brother, a family friend, her father and myself give her feedback on her essays (not all of us for the same ones though). In contrast, my son had his teacher and peers review/critique his essays and rewrote/refined them a lot.
We can’t really tell you to send or rewrite. It’s really about your gut too. If your voice comes forth clearly and you are proud of your work, by all means send it off.
You can go to the library and read some books about how to write your essays. But be quick, time is running out.
