I'm so confused! Help!

<p>I don't get anything about the process of financial aid. What I learnt is that the financial aid deadlines are often BEFORE the application deadline, but what do you submit for the universities at the financial aid deadline? Where can we find those forms, whatever they may be (FAFSA, CSS or whatever)?
Is the financial aid application integrated with the application?</p>

<p>BTW, I'm applying to the following schools: UT austin, TAMU, UH, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, Rice, USC, University of Rochester.</p>

<p>FAFSA for 2009-2010 is not available till Jan 1 2009. make sure you go to the correct site

notr that the first F of FAFSA stands for FREE - if you are asked to pay to file FAFSA you are at the wrong site.</p>

<p>You need to check the deadlines of each school as they all vary.</p>
