I have coordinated and contributed to efforts for raising money through bake sales, dances, others. The resources generated are sent to deserving persons and projects in developing countries.</li>
<li>I participated in a school group field visit with a non governmental organization working on local manufacturing of soap. Besides providing livelihood means through this activity, I also learned the technique of making and selling soap.</li>

<p>You have some great EC’s and grades, but unfortunately those hold little weight when applying to UK universities. Based on your IB scores alone (and assuming you will receive similar scores in 12th grade) you have an excellent shot at all of the unis you mentioned. Your SAT scores are on the low end for international admits at ICL, UCL, and Ox though. If you can raise your SAT then I think you have a very good shot…if not then Oxford may not be realistic.</p>

<p>I’m not sure for ICL and UCL, but I know that Oxford will want your SAT and I’d guess that the others will as well.</p>

<p>Do you mean you want to enroll full time at a UK school, or do study abroad through a US school? </p>

<p>These are really the only bits that count on a UK application, and the other grades as well but less so.

It’s one common app. so any grades you put on the UCAS form will be seen by all the colleges you apply to.

<p>You know that you MUST apply for a specific subject in the UK, right? In which case the grades of that subject and related ones are most important. I am assuming you are interested in sciences because you are applying to Imperial. You should check the web-sites of these schools to see the grades they require. SAT IIs in math/physics/chemistry/biology might be helpful. But not essential since UK schools love IB. Usually the minimum IB score for Oxbridge is 38, but I have heard of “conditional offers” asking for 40.</p>
