Importance of certain factors in transfer admissions

Hey all, I was wondering if any of you knew the answers to a few of my questions...

first off, does legacy help much in transfer admissions to the top schools?

and second, is course selection an important factor as well? (i took relatively hard courses at my current school, and made one B...in organic chemistry...and i was hoping this wouldn't be a huge deal)

thanks for the help!

Yes, legacy does help. Here is a bit of information pertaining to Penn:

Course selection matters as well, not only in satisfying certain course requirements to transfer to some schools’ departments, but also in showing how much each grade holds in each subject. Course selection also determines what credits transfer over to your latter school.

thanks for the help!
