I'm having some doubts about my college list...
For one, I started off by researching schools that have a good undergrad business program, because I'm not picky about most other requirements. But the more people i talk to, the more i realize that location and name ARE still important as to what kind of job I get in the future, since most business recruit from schools that are in the same area and that they know. For example, i had a friend who went to a school in Georgia but wanted to live in LA in the future so they transfered to a school in LA because most of the business in LA didnt know/want to recruit from a school in georgia.. I was only thinking about location for four year not really the rest of my life..
So pretty much, either you need to go to a namebrand school (like ivys) or a good school in the same area in order to be recruited from that area in the future?
Is this entirely true?
