When does the difference stop being a significant difference? My class is ridiculously competitive (the counseling office is even sending out a letter to colleges about this), so while I'd be val/sal of the class above me or below me, I'm #5 in my class with a 101 weighted average. The val has a 102, so we're all really close in terms of GPA, and I think some of the people above me are applying to the same schools as me. I know colleges will compare us, but will they really see this as a significant difference?

no, colleges won't care about a one point difference in GPA. Most forms ask what the highest GPA in the class is anyway.

I'm bumping this...

does anyone have any ideas?
