Hello,

Thanks for reading. Here is a brief overview of me: I am applying at the full-time MBA programs at UT, University of Denver and University of Washington for Fall 2007. My GMAT was over 700 and my undergrad GPA was a 3.2 overall (3.75 in my major). In the 4 years since I graduated from undergrad, I have worked in technology sales for two very large companies.

Long story short, I am wondering about the recommendation letters component of the application. Only two are necessary, but I plan on having three from the following people:

-my sales director from my last company
-a friend of the family who is a medical doctor and knows me very well personally
-my current direct manager

My question is regarding the third one. I could get a letter of recommendation from someone higher up the chain at my current company, but nobody who knows me as well as my direct manager. What do you think? Thanks in advance!
