<p>Honestly I would recommend retaking the SAT. You have a great shot at 800 considering you’ve already mastered the multiple choice. The essay is really straightforward. I’m sure you can score a 10+.</p>
<p>In terms of individual essay importance, I’m guessing that the overall writing score matters, not so much the writing score break up (MC + essay).</p>
