Importance of Undergraduate Institution

Does it matter much where you go for your undergraduate degree so long as you work hard while you're there?

For instance, if I go to a Tier 4 state university and maintain a 3.9-4.0 and get a 170+ on my LSAT along with a few extracurricular activities, will it be possible for me to get into top 15 or top 50 law schools? I'm planning on majoring in philosophy, if it matters.

Yep, it would not only possible, but probable.

Hell yeah. You would be fine.

You will still have vast options, otherwise the instituation would probably be closed. A school typically recognized by USNEWS top 100 will all fare well placing students in top law schools.

It’s not ranked in the top 100, but looking at other’s responses and searching through the forums I think I’ll be good.

Thanks guys.
