Important: How does applying for financial aid affect your chances (international)

<p>Hey guys, If you are asking the same question, I hope we can get some answers here..
How does applying for financial aid affect your chances.. If you are like an average applicant or you have 'extra ordinary' stats..how do adcoms review your file?</p>

<p>It depends on whether the schools are need blind to internationals. I think few are, but those might be them, then it shouldn’t matter at all.</p>

<p>Yes, Im aware about need blind schools… My question is regarding schools like Penn, Cornell, Duke, JHU, Brown and MANY more which are not need blind… How do these schools look at you?</p>

<p>It has a huge impact, but It also depends on how much aid you need. You will be competing with many for limited dollars. If you’re from a country that sends many qualified full pay applicants it’s especially competitive.</p>
