Hello all, this is Thom from Admissions. I wanted to post here what I just placed on our admissions blog to get the word out about an issue with incomplete email notifications that left our office yesterday. Only students who are listed in our system as incomplete would have received these emails. Students whose applications are complete a) should not have received yesterday's incomplete email and b) should have received another email stating "you're application is complete." As always, should you have questions, let us know.

I posted the following on our blog: The Vandy Admissions Blog

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Issue With Incomplete Emails

Yesterday, as a result of a software bug, emails sent to all incomplete applicants may have contained inaccurate information regarding what pieces of the application were still missing. The following corrected email will be sent this afternoon. If you received two emails DISREGARD THE FIRST EMAIL. The correct email will feature the special text at the beginning of the email describing the technical error and is dated January 19, 2010. We have communicated this problem to the software manufacturer and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience to anyone who received the first email.

**We are re-sending you this notice that your application for admission to Vanderbilt remains incomplete. Due to a technical error, the email we recently sent regarding your incomplete application may have contained incorrect information about the items still missing from your application. We have re-printed the email below with the correct list of missing items.
