The Common Application has just been officially released. It will not be activated until 1:00 PM today (July 1st, 2005), however, it is out already online.

<p>Question: How do you know if your e-mail works? I put a gmail account... does anybody know if that's okay?</p>
<p>do you have any accounts? like yahoo? or hotmail? i dont trust gmail. If you really want gmail, email yourself and see if it works.</p>

<p>Since it came out just hours ago, and its under extreme pressure on their systems, i suggest, give it a couple of days. Calm down people. We have plenty of time. One day wont make a difference. Give it some time. Dont get frustrated. These problems are expected.</p>
<p>Will appreciate a brief primer on what the common college application is.</p>
