I think it's time for UF to jack up its fees. I've seen what chump change a UF education costs, and it's nothing compared to the public schools in most states. Can you imagine if UC Berkeley charged $3500/year in tuition? It would be more selective than Harvard.

Maybe she got rejected because her name is "Ocean."

That's harsh.

come on sobick, admit it is an unusual first name.

"Ocean"

"Harvard invited her to apply. Harvard gave her an interview."

The writer (and perhaps Ocean, as well) clearly does not understand the college admissions process.

"I think it's time for UF to jack up its fees."

I agree the 3,500k a year in tuition is far too cheap.

Is the success of the Florida Gators drawing all the applicants?

Seems as such, there was only like 21k that applied before the 3 championships, so I guess there is like 5k more people who want to come to UF than before.

I'm desperate enough to go to UF that I'd transfer from my school to a community college so I could transfer to UF :/

That would be a smart choice if it's a Florida community college AA. If it's not one of these institutions then you have to have really high stats.
