in practice test- 700 club

I finally got 700s on th cb practice test on cr an math
I hope the curve is not too harsh

I hate how CB gives "score ranges" that have ranges of 100 points (a huge difference on actual scores). They should administer these tests to small groups and at least develop some sort of curve to give us an idea of where we stand..

well this is what i did. I calculated my score according to the lowest score possible. Sadly it is the usual curve for the SAT exam.

I averaged the top and bottom of the range and it was a pretty close predictor of what I got.

I just took the average of all my CB scores and added them together, I think they were 20 points higher than my actual score, so it is a good indicator.

im in the 700 club for practice tests but when it came to the real thing... hehe... all i'll say is i'm glad i got a 31 on my act...

will the curve hurt us on oct? since there will be smart juniors taking it but hopefully they are unprepared(rookies)

curves on the actual tests SUCK

i think the march curve was good, but it went downhill from their

Why are the 800 curves on the NEW Sat so much worse than the old SAT? I mean, for math you can't miss a single one and for CR you can only miss ONE (it used to be like 3 if I remember correctly). For writing I'm not even sure...

march was 'ok'...but the rest are just out of control....

btw george..writinig is even worse than the other 2...

What is it? Like minus two or something insane (on the "take the SAT brochure" the 800 curve is extremely liberal...enabling one to miss up to 4 or 5 assuming a 12 was made on the essay)?

The practice test I took the day before the June SAT wasn't too close to what I actually got in June; the practice test was a lot higher, just taking the middle of the score range, especially for Math.

I did the practice test that was administered before (so it showed an actual score) - 720w 690m but my actual scores were 660 and 580 (did terrible)
