Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum and don't quite know if I can expect any answer to such a thread.
I am a student at Universit

“I don’t have ANY idea of what I would like to do after.”

This is an excellent reason to take not just one, but several years off - work, volunteer, be an intern. It can be domestic or abroad or a combination. Try one job and if it doesn’t take you anywhere, try something else. You can start by volunteering for an organization that does something you care about - once you’re in the door, take the initiative to do more than they ask for or are expecting. Often, an impressive volunteer or intern is the first person who is offered a job when that organization has a vacancy at the appropriate level because they’ve demonstrated their value. As a business professional who works with nonprofits, I see this happen all the time.

It makes no sense to apply to grad school if you don’t know why you are there and what you want to accomplish. In fact, once you’ve been working for a while, you might be surprised at how your professional goals evolve.

^totally agree.

Thank you for your answer!
My little finger, too, tells me this would be the appropriate thing to do. I guess I’ll just have to put my juvenile megalomania aside for a while.
