<p>On the UVa website, it says that about 1/3 of all applicants are offered admission. How would this differ for in-state students? Clearly you would be more likely to be admitted if you were in state, but how much more?</p>
<p>There is a state mandate that 2/3 of the student body be Virginia residents. The admit rate is not 1/3, though. </p>
