<p>If you can afford out and you jive with the school, I'd suggest you go out-of-state. It never hurts to expand your horizons.</p>
<p>This is all very subjective. If you LOVE where you live then going out-of-state would not appeal to you.
If there is a school out-of-state that is MUCH better then any school that you can get into or that is available in-state then you should consider going out-of-state.
There a simply MORE options if you consider all of the schools in the country.
I went out of state because I loved a certain out-of-state school but I still love California and I visit often.</p>

<p>I think it really depends on what schools are available instate. If I lived in California, I would stay in-state. However, since I live in Nevada, I only have a choice between UNR and UNLV making out-of-state schools a more desirable choice.</p>
