In what order will you be checking your Ivy League admissions decisions?

I’m doing mine in ABC order to make it interesting. Brown first, Yale last. I’m doing it at home with my mom and my aunt.

Least curious to most curious.

Darmouth
Cornell
Brown

Of the Ivies that I have applied to, I’ll be checking starting with Cornell and ending with Princeton.

Strictly alphabetical. Cornell, Harvard, Princeton, Yale.

Ones I know I’m not getting into (like Harvard, etc.) to ones I have a sliver of hope for being accepted (Cornell, etc.)

In order of a combination of desire to go, passion, and expectation (ascending):

Penn
Brown
Cornell
Dartmouth

Basically I’m fairly sure I’m not getting into Penn for some reason. :1 darn

are they really all coming out at the same time…? I would imagine it to be a bit hard for every Ivy to release at the same second. I think I’ll check as they come out. If they really all are at the same time,
Princeton (already deferred so I’m expecting a rejection)
Brown
Yale
Harvard

@binatang‌ Yeah they all come out at the same time. March 31 at 5:00 PM EST.

(next year) from the one I’m most likely to be admitted to, to least likely.

I did apply to all of them so I’ll be going from most likely rejected/least excited about to what I really hope for/looking forward to so:
Yale (automatic rejection lol)
Columbia (likely rejection and hate the concrete jungle of nyc)
UPenn (lol rejection at Wharton but maybe it’s possible?)
Dartmouth (Love everything about Dartmouth just don’t think it’s likely)
Princeton (Really like it but unlikely)
Cornell (All my money is on this one right now)
Brown (This would be a dream for me, and my Sat is their average Sat so maybe???)
Harvard (Life)

Best of luck to all of you!!!

It’d be cool if you guys could post back here after decisions are out and let us know how you did!

Probably beginning with the ones I least like to the ones I’ll be admitted to.

Penn
Dartmouth
Cornell
Columbia

I know the published date is March 31st, but if you look at history (past 4 years) it’s the last Thursday in March nit the 31st

In order as follows:
1.UPenn
2.Columbia
3.Dartmouth
4.Cornell (Already admitted so I have a chance to recover my emotions)
5.Yale
6.Harvard
7.Princeton
8.Brown

Brown
Princeton
Yale
Harvard
UPENN-Got likely letter
Columbia-Got likely letter
Dartmouth-Got likely
Cornell-Already admitted

Last year, I opened from least desired to most desired (which, coincidentally happened to be most likely to least likely). I assumed I would get in somewhere and be happy, before being rejected by my top choice.

Cornell – Rejected
Dartmouth – Rejected
Penn – Rejected
Columbia – Accepted
Yale – Accepted

You can imagine my surprise when I got into the last two, after being rejected by the first three. I honestly don’t even remember being disappointed by the first three rejections. All I remember is being completely and utterly happy by the final two acceptances. I imagine that most people with the same list of schools will not have similar results, though.

I’ll be relaxing lol, no ivies for me!

alphabetically

  1. Cornell
  2. Penn
  3. Harvard Just feels right to check them in order of likelihood of admittance (high to low).

I’ll be opening from least desired to most desired:

  1. UPenn
  2. Harvard
  3. Brown
