<p>I think that your engineering advisor will be able to help you schedule classes to catch you up if necessary. You might even be able to take those EE programming classes 2nd semester and over the summer, if you decide to switch, so you could begin sophomore year with all of your prerequisites completed.</p>
<p>Just go into EE, it will give you the most options. You are already making it harder to get into medical school by studying engineering instead of basket weaving, so you may as well study the engineering subject that you like.</p>

<p>You don’t have to be a cellular biology or organic chemistry whiz to be a good doctor. There’s a reason why the medical school requirements are only introductory courses (and why in other countries, medicine is an undergraduate degree). You do need good grades in the courses to get into medical school, though.</p>
