On a page discussing the new "tuition adjustment" Grinnell mentions a new policy of "indexing merit awards." Does anyone know what that means?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm just as puzzled as you are.

I assume that they mean that the merit awards will go up from year to year to adjust, at least in part, for the significant tuition increase Grinnell will be implementing in each of the next several years.

Ah, thanks, that does make sense.
