@hellwattodo
for a guy who got 7.4 in 10th grade how did you end with a 2400 on the SAT.
u surely are lying
even the guys who go into the mafia get more than 7.4.

Didn’t studied in my 10th class at all, and also 7.4 is my weighted gpa , that means i would have got much lower gpa if unweighted. And scoring 2400 was not much difficult, condition that you can survive the type of high school education system in india that too in the education hub of the country with science streams.

*is = was

@hellwattodo
ok ur definitely lying. scoring 2400 wasn’t difficult. yeah right. with ur 7.4 it would be tuff to get into a community college. plus ur SAT would be somewhere between 1600 - 1800. people score 9.0 with their eyes closed

well! many do score 9.0 with their eyes closed, but not all. And not many who get 10.0 get successful in their high schools. The city i live in boosts the most young scientists, engineers and doctors of india. In my city, more than half of the total population are students from around the country. Around 200,000 high school students come to the city for better high school studies. and i am one of the brightest among them.

I live in kota, for gods sake , and i am well known among all coaching faculties . where are you from the kool kid

@hellwattodo take it easy man…this kid has no idea about how wrong a measure of intelligence are the 10th grade marks. You have an excellent shot, if your extracurriculars are good, but your 10th grade marks will hurt you.

Incidentally which institute in Kota? I did my 11th from there at Resonance and am now back in my hometown for 12th.

@hellwattodo how to fill in predicted grades?..the counsellor can fill in whatever he feels like in that column based on my previous performance, right?

I am in resonance too - IP batch once, and pa1 batch rest of the year.

I haven’t applied to the common app still, because my parents didn’t allow me to(you know the iit craze and all that). i am going to take a gap year and apply next year.
well what you say about predicted grades seems right. But still, no one but you can predict your grades, so i suggest you tell your counsellor your predicted grades before he puts it himself.
p.s. i will do a proper search and post it here in few hours. best of luck for your app.

<a href=“Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos”>Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos;
Although, this is for uk univ. , but i think it is similar to your case. If you still didn’t get your question solved, post your query on yahoo ans.

@hellwattodo mother of coincidence…I was in JA2 for the first 2 months, the I was in JA1 for my entire 11th and would have been in PA1 for my 12th had I gone back to Kota…So we must have been in the same batch last year…

Noop! i was in IA last year.

Since 7th standard, i am studying in resonance in one way or another. So, my IA batch was a result of that.

nevermind…anyway…keep on posting

“was not much difficult”?
Syntax like that is pretty uncommon for 2400 SAT scorers. I call bs.

All the luck for your college applications, but please don’t lie about your SAT scores.

Also “since 7th standard, I am studying?”, it should be “I have been studying”.

if a person makes 800 in writing then their grammar skills are supposed to be near perfect

Why is this thread so quiet?..get it started…Indians post your stats…
