Industrial Engineering vs SCM vs Accounting

I know that accounting is stable, but at the same time it doesnt have too high of a pay. I was wondering if anyone knew about the job prospective of SCM because it has a higher pay, but at the same time, I dont want it to have a high unemployment/underemployment rate. What do you think it is better to major in? I ALSO heard that Industrial Engineering is simlar to SCM, but I never was intereseted in engineering. How similar is IE to SCM, are these better than accounting (in terms of pay and stablity).

Majoring in Industrial Engineering is better because IE’s can do just about any SCM job but a person with a SCM degree would not be able to do Industrial Engineering work.

Job prospects for SCM are pretty good for a business degree. People usually start at about 45-55 K but a SCM VP can easily make 200 K.

I would say, SCM is probably the best business degree right now because it is more specialized, there is a high demand for SCM professionals, a better investmet than just a regular B.S in Business Administration but a degree in Industrial Engineering will be much more challenging and more respected.
