I'm going to be a freshman at Penn State in the fall and I'm going to pursue Industrial engineering. I just wanted to know how difficult the major is. In high school, I usually got A's in math, B+ in advanced chem, and just made a B in advanced physics.

What I have heard often from people is that IE is one of the easiest major in the engineering major.

Why is IE considered so "easy"? I have heard people talk about it being "imaginary engineering", but no one really says why its difficulty pales in comparison to other engineering disciplines..
