Very good point about Ramapo. I made that my safety instead of NU. Why didn't I think of that.

I used to live in Elizabeth. Wow the world is small. I used to live on Palmer Avenue. Went to Cristopher Columbus School. So Kean is good eh? Is it one of your safeties? Is it big on commuter, they offer dorms?

Five Towns (http://fivetowns.edu) is a performing arts college for people interested in music business and audio engineering and etc. The only thing holding me back from it is that its a small conservative type school. But it offers everything I need and it aint hard to get in.

Whoa! Small world! I was born and raised there, went to Abraham Lincoln and then to Battin Middle School. Lived on Murray Street.

That just made my day!

Anyways, no I wasn't considering it...but now I think I'll open up to it. I think it's commuter ::edit:: yes, it is. But I don't doubt you'll have a chance to get housing.

Woot for Five Towns then. Always always always visit if you have qualms...it may not be that bad.

P.S. Did you see the "Reel" Temple??? I officially made Temple my top choice after seeing how random the students are. I loved it.

Yea, its a small world. Elizabeth is cool. My dad used to be co-owner of Metro Auto Alarms. I don't know if you know where that is.

See...Im considering colleges that are Far and Near. Because if they're near...I can easily get a job and get my own spot with a roomate and do a lot of things cuz im in my area.

But when its far, theres always the experience and all that.

But I dont think I can manage to live with my family another year. Heeellll no.

Ive made Kean my safety now. I just got Seton Hall, Rider and Rowan to get info on.

Yo sweetsaz I gotta thank you a million for real. Uve been amazing with the info and suggestions. ;)

Aw, thanks. Since you're looking basically in the same direction as I am, I can easily help you out :).

Lmao! I know how you feel. My mom went from being tolerable to grating all in one. I think it's just the thought that freedom is a year away and senior year is all that's keeping you from that.

With a respectable GPA of 3.4 (keep rising, they like that ALOT), and a good chance you'll get that 1900, I think many of those matches will become safe matches, just you watch. After I got my 1940 everything changed :).

Five Towns = match? It should be a safety. 83 % acceptance rate, surprisingly no stats besides that. You'll most likely get in.

You asked for info for Rider, Seton, and Rowan? Watch out for Rowan, they'll send you pointless emails.

Oh yeah, I was about to ask this but I forgot. You have to be objective with your schools. I'd feel horrible if you chose a school and hated it, and ended up like so many kids and transfer a billion times. Would you be HAPPY at all of these schools? Do they fit most of your criteria?

Well, to answer that last question. I think id feel a little bit out of place at Emerson being that its really a top notch school compared to the other ones. Not to offend anyone or anything but Its like a rich school for communications. Itd take some adjusting. But its only a reach school so Im not worrying to much about that.

Rowan is in SOUTH Jersey. Besides the beach and amusement park in the summer, I really don't know what else there is to do there during the year. And I hear half the school commutes. I wouldnt mind the commuting if it was in my area where I know my way around, but im not familiar with South Jersey. But It does have a good communications program from what I hear.

CCNY. Its really the only COMMUTER school I have on my list. It has no campus and it would be my last choice. It also has a low acceptance rate and not to many out of staters. Not sure if its even worth applying since I got so many colleges already.
