Information about GPA needed

Hello,

I am new to this. Honestly, I have never done this before, so forgive me if I did something I shouldn't have. I wanted to know about transfers and gpas. I wanted to know if the gpa you get in a community college affects your chances of graduating with honors at a university. For instance, let's say you currently have a 3.111 gpa and you get an A in your next two credit classes. Then, you transfer to a university. You get straight A's the entire time. Would there be any chance of graduating with honors or does the communitive gpa average ruin those chances. I was wondering if anybody had some information, because the college websites do not give clear information no matter how I phrase my question. Any information would be truly appreciated. Thank you!!!!!

Normally when you transfer to another institution, your GPA resets and your prior GPAs have no effect on your new GPA. So yes, you can graduate with honors/high honors/etc.
