Informing Colleges about Eagle Scout

I just completed my Eagle Scout Project today and so in about a month or so after all the paperwork is processed I will have received my Eagle Scout rank.
I had already put an additional document on my Common App explaining my Eagle Scout Project and that I was projected to be an Eaglr Scout in February.
Say I complete my board of review mid February, is it too late to send my colleges a letter saying i have reached Eagle or should i even send letters?

Not too late, send email update that it is complete.

Yes, send an email to your admissions rep if you know who it is for your region, or just the general admissions office email if you don’t. Give them your name, birthdate, address, and if there is an ID # assigned to you in their application process (if there is one, you can probable see it in any emails they sent you or on the online portal if there is one). If you can’t find that, don’t worry, not all colleges tell you. And let them know that you completed the requirements and passed the board of review for your Eagle Scout, and wanted to let them know.
