I have done a bunch of research on this and still can’t quite figure it out. It sounds very interesting to me and like something I would enjoy but and other info would be helpful. What I understand is that you apply specifically for the IA and then start classes in the summer but don’t take classes over the fall. Only the spring and summer. Is this all four years or only a specific amount of time? If needed are you allowed to take classes during the fall or must they be online? Also, from what I have read it is easier to get accepted into the Innovation Academy, is this true? I’m not going to apply only for this because of that but it would be nice to know. Has yourself or anyone you known gone through this program(specifically as premed)?
The Alligator did a recent series of articles on IA, you may find them of interest.

IA is for all four years, you can only take online classes in the fall, and I would think it’s a bit easier to get accepted to IA, since they have less competition for the IA “slots” that are available.
