<<Insert attractive, interesting title here>> Promise to chance you back!

Thanks cookies93!

ngeeze1, thank you. Why do you think being from India helps for Michigan? :|

michigan is big on diversity, and i live in michigan. there is not a large representation of Indian students in Ann Arbor, so your ethnicity will stand out as someone who can add to the diversity of the university. you would probably get in no matter what ethnicity you were though because you are extremely qualified. i’m just saying being indian helps even more

I see your point. Thanks.

:)

Cornell, UChicago IN? Are you sure? :p

Thanks. :D

And… a shameless bump.

Your academics are decent at best, but I think your ECs more than make up for it. Since alot of the schools you applied to are a lottery for nearly everyone applying, I’m gonna say you have as good a chance as anybody.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1077790-chance-me-jhu-computer-engineering-ok-gpa-good-sats-pretty-good-ecs-hook.html

I’m not so sure about being IN at Cornell, your math reading cumulative is kind of low.

For the most part I agree with WestWingKid, Harvey Mudd and UC Berkeley are both very hard to get into (UCB especially for OOSers)

You seem to be a great applicant, but your SAT scores and GPA are a bit low… still i think your ECs can make up for it! GOOD LUCK!

^Thank you! But, I know that my SATs are low, but my GPA? It’s a 4.25 out of 4, that’s an A+. :/

bump. .

Decent chances.

thanks for chancing me! your SAT’s are pretty good. a little on the short end i guess, but you can always improve that. your EC’s are awesome and pretty distinctive.

Harvard, Yale Princeton, Stanford, MIT - high reach
Penn, Duke, UCB - mid reach
Cornell, UChicago - low reach
Penn State, Harvey Mudd, University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, Purdue, UIUC, GA Tech - in

From a fellow indian … living in the US … I have to give you props for your academic achievement and for wanting to come to the states for college.

The schools you mentioned are . …

Harvard, Yale Princeton, Stanford, MIT<– Applied just for fun.
Penn, Cornell, UChicago, Penn State, UCBerkeley, Harvey Mudd, University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, Purdue, UIUC, GA Tech, Duke

You WILL get into Penn State, University of Michigan at Arbor, Purdue, GA Tech
Your REACH schools are Cornell, UCBerkely, Duke,
The ONES THAT ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW. So for these you have what it takes … but foremost the SAT scores are going to hurt you. Don’t worry you still have a healthy chance at UChicago, Penn, Stanford.
I think that your high reaches are harvard, yale, mit

And to be honest i didnt include harvey mudd or UIUC because I am not familar with their admissions.

@sohopeless i have a family friend who works at harvard admissions, he told me that generally international applicants that they accept have lower standarized tests scores
