Oh really, thats not good. It looks really nice. If I aply I will try and look into that more. Is their any other schools in the area that are good apart from the ones already listed here.

I've talked to a girl who goes their and she says she really likes it their.(she dosen't seem stuck up at all) My mum said i can go if i get in so I cant wait to apply in November. Yay! Does anyone else know anything about this school?

this school is the most elite boarding school out there. People pay about 70,000 for there kids to go there and most of the royals or high placed govenors send there kids, so it's a very elite place. Something different is your forced to speak two new langauges by the time you finish , unlike the schools in the us.

Le Rosey is where Euro royalty often go. Skiing is a big deal there. $$$$.

I was going to go there, and when my father was my age, he was going to go. He's really mad that i'm staying in the US but i just htought it was wayyy to far to go away to for 4 years. When i was in 5th grade i looked at it, and they told us that 9th graders - 12th graders get their own bathrooms in their dorms. It is deffinetely one of the most well known schools in Europe, but it is also quite expensive (When i was looking, they were saying it was around $60,000 a year... could have changed as that was 5 years ago).

Do you think i will get in to le rosey :

i attend Stewart Mellville Academy for half the year a fly over to australia an attend Scots College International School ( Both very exclusive private schools)

My father in a Major-Genral in the British Army and my Mother doesnt work.

My Grades are B,C,A,C,C,A

My dad went to Eton and my mother went to Chalpmen Ladies

We have a estimated ( dad would never tell me )wealth of $18,000,000

I also ski and snow board.

Will i get in?

Lewisha,

lol. ur grades arent that grade. but with your money you should get in. I was talking to this girl I know that goes there and she said the school is easy to get into but this year their starting to care about grades and academics so their toughening up. hmmm about their no tolerance drug or alcohol policy. hmm yeaa right, like they would ever kick someone out for that. I was reading this Le Rosey students blog and she was talking about being drunk and hangover, that she didn't want to go to class. blah blah blah

hmm. they offer no scholarships, I know because I have contacted them. I called and it was 3 AM there and the butler answered. I called later so it would be 11am there. Overall the fees come down to about $100,000 USD. they have a beautiful campus in the ultra-exclusive resort Gustav (i think). Plus remember that there are fees for travel which should add about $5000 USD more.

haha, Senay

You must have had the hurricane on the mind, because the name of the place is Gstaad.

hickton45,

LOL. yeaaa, funny :) I was on vacation in Miami Beach from June 23rd to July 20th and I sooooo didn't miss the hurricane.

Gasp
My post was deleted.

Wrong wrong wrong!!!
Most of you here don't know anything about the school, so do stop judging, people!

First of all, we wear nothing but designers clothes? Ha! Why, do you think we are superficial or something? We're not Paris Hilton!! On the contrary, I think we're quite modest, compared with other kids, for example, at Spence in NYC.

Second, not-so-serious-pupils actually get into Ivies, including myself (Columbia, Yale, Brown, etc.) and my sister who has transferred to Yale from Cambridge. Also, my little brother is a freshman @ Harvard now, though he completed his sixth-form at another institution in England. Btw, neither of my parents went to Yale.

Third, ... well, I'm not even going to waste my time here anymore. It's just sad to see people getting us completely wrong based on rumours.

I know a lot of girls that go to Spence. They are not at all stuck up. It is true most girls who attend are very wealthy but who doesn't know that?
It does not make them stuck up.

I'm a freshman at one of the elite New England schools right now. My family is not wealthy whatsoever, but I am considering on applying to Le Rosey for next year. Maybe. I've been reading and it's still not totally clear if the Rosey Foundation gives financial aid...

Do they?

I know nothing about Le Rosey, but do wonder why you are so focused on only one school for next year as an option? If you are not happy where you are, why not broaden your search?
