Do any current students/students that have visited campus have any info on the integrated science center scheduled to be completed in 2015. The blueprints and animations make it look awesome! This is one of the things that excites me most about Vassar! Any comments on how construction is going?

As the parent of a prospective class of '18, I am very interested in this as well if anyone has any updates or other comments about Vassar science (particularly cognitive science).

There’s been a lot of developments on the science center but they recently announced that due to some delays, it will open the spring semester of 2015-2016. Until then however, there are a couple of issues with the biology program. As of now, some biology students can’t enter 200 classes simply because there are too many bio majors and not enough classes.

The cognitive science department is particularly strong so I wouldn’t have any worries about that.

Thanks very much. I see that a few existing science buildings that have been re-done will open in Sept. of 2014. The Bridge building looks pretty amazing.
