Who else wishes he/she was dumber?

I always wished I was smarter!

I’d never compromise my intelligence although admittedly mindlessness WOULD be nice for a short period, probably why hypnosis appeals to me, and vicodin when I was taking it…freedom to not have to THINK about things for a brief time. Not to be so obsessive and such.

sort of a mo’ money mo’ problems thing isn’t it

I wish people would stop assuming that they’re so much more intelligent, even if they find it a “burden” (haha…).

I wish I was wiser. Wisdom is more important than intelligence.

hahaha

lot of stuck up *******s on this board, huh?

subjunctive

Jussive .

Indicative

You think intellect is a bane? Try being THIS attractive. Every time I step outdoors the Richter scales on the earthquake simulators in the CE building go haywire due to the downward force of every woman’s pair of panties simultaneously dropping upon seeing my face.

I second Yakyu Spirits! Instead of worrying about how smart you are, you should be worrying about how good looking you are. I’m so gorgeous no one takes me seriously. Girls don’t want to befriend me because they look so unattractive in comparison;)

Nahh, but seriously, why would you want to be less smart? That really makes no sense.

Never wanted to be less intelligent. Heck, I love being intelligent. Its part of who I am.

Yakyu Spirits, I hope you mean attractive overall… not compared to the students in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering at Umich, haha.

Then you wouldn’t be setting the bar that high

Please, OP, tell us more about the great burden of being so damn better than everyone else. Is it really as hard as it looks?

Ignorance is very very bliss indeed

Aye, what a burden it is to have the ability to calculate sensible reactions to a set of actions or stipulations. What pain it brings to comprehend concepts both concrete and abstract with ease.

It isn’t unless you live in a dorm full of fratdaddies and communications majors like I do.

Eh. I look around and it pains me to see how dumb the general population is, but I don’t really want to be dumber… Oh and smart people are more likely to develop drinking problems. No big deal.

I stand by my original statement, there are a lot of stuck up *******s on this board

I like to be smarter, actually. On the IQ scale, about 30 points smarter. On the GPA scale, about 0.4 points higher. On the SAT scale, about 140 points. In the impressions of my teachers, I’VE HIT THE ROOF. Just kidding. I don’t know why I just wrote this. It’s kinda late…
