Interested in finding a roommate thread

<p>Id rather not leave my roommate-search up to chance so I was wondering if I, or anyone for that matter, could find a roommate. </p>

<p>Info (taken from facebook BU 2013 group [epic fail])</p>

<p>School: CAS
Dorm Consideration (Warren, West, etc.): Warren/towers/west/myles/baystate honors housing in that order
Major: Undecided. Math/science is my strength
Guests (yes or no):Few. Don’t mind as long as im not studying. </p>

<p>Hobbies: Cooking, watching/playing baseball, watching/playing football, playing volleyball, watching tv, having deep convos, going for walks, listening to music
Music: Anything not country, heavy metal.
Television: Prime time cable, MLB network, ESPN, TNT and movie channels, House, mentalist, how I met your mother
Sports: Baseball, Volleyball, Football, Soccer
Favorite food: Sushi</p>

<p>Study Habits: Havent studied in a while. Most likely a 9-12 PM study
Sleep Schedule: Sleep anywhere from 11:30-12-30 during weeknight. 1-2 AM on weekends. Wakeup at around 10:30-11
Bad Habits: idk. lol.
Pet Peves:
Cleanliness (1-10): 4-6. I can get dirty, but it wont break a certain point. Will clean rom once a week at least. I know this from experience (6 summers at colleges for summer programs). I also take a shower 1-2 times a day. Shower hogger? </p>

Drink, smoke, drugs (yes or no): No.
Religious affiliation (optional): Atheist/Agnostic Catholic.
Open-mindedness (1-10): 9. I have my opinions. Dont care if others share theirs, but dont be condascending or I have a problem.

Interesting fact about yourself: Only child, very white mexican.
Additional comments: I’ve been a really good rommie in the past. I know when to stop playing around and when its time to work. I respond well to people’s boundaries and am a bit of a people-pleaser. I love travel. I love doing spontaneous things like playing soccer/football on the turf at 2 in the morning.</p>

Major: International Relations
Guests (yes or no): Occasionally, sure. I’m fine with my roommate bringing guests as long as they are chill and respect my things.</p>

<p>Hobbies: Playing frisbee, exploring/traveling, MilSim airsoft, listening to music, watching movies, etc. whatever’s fun
Music: Rock and some other things (I am not a fan of country music)
Television: CNN (I’m a news junkie), Discovery, History, The Office, 24, BSG, Colbert Report, etc…
Sports: I play tennis and ultimate frisbee. I spectate baseball, football, and BU hockey(!).
Favorite food: I like a variety of things.</p>

<p>Study Habits: Extreme procrastination.
Sleep Schedule: I usually just go to sleep when I’m tired. This usually ranges from 11 p.m. (weekdays) to 1 a.m. (weekends, not set in stone). I wake up around noon time on weekends, and on weekdays I will wake up as late as possible to still get to class on time.
Bad Habits: procrastination maybe (who doesn’t?)
Pet Peeves: I’m not easily bothered
Cleanliness (1-10): I will probably start the year somewhere around an 8. As the year goes on I will slip down towards a 6. I’m very good about personal hygiene, but my room area might become kinda messy as the year goes by. I will clean it up if it gets too bad.</p>

Interesting fact about yourself: I like trying to learn new languages (but I haven’t gotten far with anything yet). I know a native Russian speaker so I was trying to learn some things from him. I think I’m going to take Italian at BU though (so I can eventually study abroad in Italy).
Additional comments: I’m open to meeting lots of new people this year. I’m pretty easygoing in general, but I’m not a pushover either. I am a news junkie and I love a good-spirited debate about the issues. I love playing games like ultimate frisbee but I also appreciate kicking back to relax while watching a movie. I can’t wait to explore Boston and just go all over the city seeing the sights and trying new restaurants (as long as my money holds up).</p>

<p>Study Habits: Depends on the time of year. I procrastinate mostly, but I get everything done eventually.
Sleep Schedule: I go to sleep pretty late usually. I don’t like to wake up late, but sometimes I can’t help it. I guess I fall asleep around twelve to two and wake up between ten and twelve.
Bad Habits: Nothing that comes to mind really.

<p>I am very respectful around new people. So much so, that I usually come off as shy. Once I get to know you better though, my sense of humor comes out. I am dependable and consider myself a good friend. When my friends ask me for favors, I’m always there for them. I’m a bit of a procrastinator for issues for myself, but when there is someone else depending on me, I ALWAYS come through. I’m very logical. I try to be as humble as possible, as I believe actions speak louder than words. I have good manners. If there is anyone I clash with it’s people who have no respect for others, especially when those others are my friends.
