I'm essentially the typical NHS student at my school (community service to school, senior leader in most activities) but I didn't have the average required to apply. Bit disappointing, but I feel like I will live without wearing a sash to graduation.

Have worked 2 part time jobs concurrently for 2 years now

my essay was funny (I swear) and my recommendations were great, I feel. Focused more on attractive personality traits then mere academic show-offiness in my application...I feel that I submitted a really great presentation of what I offer as a person, and not as a test-taker. my stats aren't incredible.

Schools:

SUNY Bing
SUNY Geneseo
Wesleyan
Skidmore
Boston College
Fordham (lincoln center audition, but they consider you to rose hill if you do not make the theatre department)
Muhlenberg
NYU

really interested in liberal-esque, quasi-artsy schools. Am open to any and all suggestions for any last minute apps before January!

Thanks in advance,
Drew

decent at all but NYU and WESLEYAN (no real shot - sorry) , BC is a bit of a stetch buit possibe - check mine on WHere should i go )if i get in)

I have an uncle who is a professor in Stern at NYU. He basically forced me to apply - and I think he might try to pull strings. I'm not particularly in love with NYU, hence why I listed it last. I figured he was a connection, however influential he may or may not be. thanks for being honest, though!

You should look at BU. They are pretty good with artsy stuff.

bump. thanks' for the suggestion - will look into BU (never gave it much thought)

i think you have a good chance at alot of those schools... a great essay can sometimes override low test and gpa's.. if you made them fall in love with ur personality ur a shoe in
