Interesting chances thread

Don't think my stats are stellar or anything but still want to hear some criticism from the dear old CC crew.

GPA: I'm an international (Sweden) but converted my current GPA to 3.6 don't know if its weighted or unweighted. Got 11 subjects left with predicted A's on them.
SAT: 680W 680 V 650M - 2010
SAT II: doing WH and math IC june, US history fall, predicting 680's maybe 700.

ECs: only got 3 EC's that I'm really passionate about;
Founder of a ethnic business association (a couple of firms in it)
Founder of a Habitat for Humanity club with 18 members, fundraising up around 13K and traveling to a european country next spring.
Founder and CEO of a tutoring business (just started but expected to have a good history by fall)

Work experience at an asset management firm 300h+
Ethnicity: Somalian
Possible athlete (soccer). At least I'm trying out for them this summer.

Have a genuine interest for studying at Harvard, based not on name/status but on it's diverse student body and networking opportunities.

bump this up. Rank is not available since school doesn't rank but I'm in the 99th percentile and got the toughest courseload in school.

well.. if you get recruited, u'll have a pretty good chance... btw, how did u get the soccer trial? did u apply for it, or did u send in videos??? how good r u in soccer?

applied, talked with the coach. I'm good at soccer (predictable answer) but I've been injured for 1 year and therefore need to show my skills live so the coach can judge it for himself. I've been playing for full since this spring though so I'm fit. I don't think I'll stand a good chance here though since I heard most recruits are from inside US.

I'll tell u wut bro, if ur somalian, u have a good chance to make the cut for the soccer team. I've played against state champions, and they suck for international standards... the us is just not that good in soccer... u'll make it man
