Interesting video of Amherst 40 years ago. There have been major changes in some areas, particularly closure of fraternities and the full integration of women, yet some areas such as developing a “life of the mind”, finding your passions, and understanding involvement vs. commitment, remain the same.
John David Coles, the student who made the movie, later became director for Grey’s Anatomy and House of Cards.
