<p>I’d agree… that’s interesting! My guess would be that it depends what state you’re from… if the school has few apps from that state, your chances would probably go up</p>

<p>Well, if you are from North Dakota, I’m pretty sure most schools are looking for you (that seems to be the running joke at all the college visits I go to, they have 49 states represented, if anyone knows a kid from North Dakota, they’d be happy to let them in). Following that line of thought, schools like diversity, so if you are maybe one of 20 in 2000 from a state, you definitely have a better chance, if my opinion is at all informed, which it may not be.</p>
