Intermural Sports

I'm planning on doing that in my free time. I read around, and it seems we form our own teams. I'm coming up there, and basically not many people from my area are going who would play. Will it be easy to find a team and get set-up to play? Or is it kinda impossible without a group of guys already?

I'm planning on basketball and volleyball, if that helps. Thanks! I really wanna play!

i'm betting that you won't have a problem recruiting a team once you get to campus. i did softball, and it was pretty fun.

im doing summer IM softball and im gonna do dodgeball in the fall

Perhaps we can form a team on this forum. I play basketball and want to form a team as well. Which college are you in?

I'm in Revelle. Yeah, for sure I want to play basketball. =)

I'm in Revelle as well. Maybe we can get a daily thing going. It's good exercise and doing it with a group will help us continue it. We can find all sorts of people some good and some not so good. We can recruit there.

dodgeball was fun ;] starts in the fall

When you guys mention Dodgeball, it reminds me of Ben Stiller doing a diving throw.

I'm sure its not like that at all.....riiight?

nah. the balls that they use are those small cushion-like things...

sounds like fun. i was thinking about doing water polo or swimming, something like that (IM)

Is there an official intramural swimming team?
If not, the pool should be open to all students at anytime (assuming its open) right?

I do believe there is an IM swimming team, if not I wanna make one..either that or Water Polo.
