Hi all, ive got some questions directed at admission to MIT.

Im studing in the czech republic, im an american citizen, but english is not my native language. Im enrolled in "High school of applicable cybernetics",its the nations most exclusive computer science school.

But my school does NOT provide Recomendation letters[ it is not custom to do so in the czech rep.]. Ive read that the letters are very important for the application procces. So..........am i screwed?

Also my MATURITA is going to happen in june, and the school does NOT offer the chance of taking it sooner. So i cant send it in time for application. If i cannot provide my maturita for evaluation to you, should i send my 3rd and 4th year grades??

Also my school has a very limited amount of extra courses to take, i am taking 3dmax,c# and advanced math, but im not sure how my "advanced math" can compare to AP courses.

Any answers to these questions will help me, thank you ahead.

Even then you could at least ask your teacher for a letter.

Send your midterm results of final year with 3rd and 4th year results.

Agreed, contacting Matt through his blog, where he offers to answer questions directly, will be more likely to get you an answer than posting here on CC.
