International Applicants - Post As You Receive!

I'm an applicant from China. I think it's beneficial, information-wise, to all of us international applicants if we post when we receive and what the decision was so we have a better idea. So here's the info that's helpful I guess:

Decision:
Location:
Did you receive a DHL e-mail?
If so, when:
GPA:
SAT:
ACT:
Legacy?
When did your status change to "acted upon"?
When did your status change to "received/completed review"?

where are you from in China, i'm from Yunnan, even though I live in the states now.

good luck!!

Beijing! Good luck to you too. :)

haha. thanks. i was already accepted in Jan., so now just perusing CC for more reasons to love USC.

Seoul, South Korea.. nothing yet :p

My package went to Ohio then came back to LA. It's still stuck there. :(

I'm an international but I live in California. Do I count?
haha, I was accepted like a month ago.

ontario canada here. nothing. probably rejected..

Mumbai, India....nothing yet...no email.

are we all supposed to get a dhl email? no matter the result?

I THINK that they send all decisions through DHL, rejection or acceptance. So we should all get a DHL e-mail notifying us about an arrival.

then why isn't ANY international students getting emails. if they sent it on friday/thursday. then we should be getting emails since they drop it off that day?

I think we'll be getting e-mails soon. It may take a while for DHL to process everything.

How do you know all decisions are sent through DHL? I know acceptances are since my friend got the e-mail from DHL and recieved the admit package. I haven't seen anyone receiving a rejection through DHL yet. In fact, I haven't seen anyone who's international getting rejected yet. So this leads me to a conclusion that if you haven't received the DHL e-mail on Mar. 28 wave, you are rejected.

Nah I don't think so. The admissions officer I kept in contact with told me all decisions for intl's are handled by DHL.

omg....protege you just made my day...

n besides there were also some reports that people didnt receive an meail. but were still admitted..

I'm also thinkin that maybe DHL dosnt send emails to rejects cuz the letter would be so small n puny that there would be no reason to go thru the trouble of tracking and emailing.
AHH i dunno...but we'll all know by tuesday.

No problem aj16. :)

I hope we both get in. I know we both really want to go. Hopefully I'll see you there. I've seen you on this boards a lot like myself.

I think they send all through DHL, don't worry though. All we can do is wait now :)

SIGHHH me too and I get on CC - USC forum like.. every 20 minutes now.. lol..
sorry i'm just kind of pessimistic right now.. knowing that I already got rejected from Cal LA and SD.. my only hope is USC but I'm just doubting it.. :(..

i live in s. korea and i got a package through DHL a week ago..and so did 3 of my friends..

Wow. Congrats guys!! Keep us posted on recent ones in the last batch.. I think that's what people are concerned about now (including myself).
